Hyderabad, Tuesday, October 14, 2008: 24/7 Customer, leading Customer Lifecycle Management (CLM) solution provider, today conferred the "Best Professor Award" to Prof K V Mohan Rao SR&BGNR Govt Degree College, Khammam. The first of its kind initiative with the academia, 10 professors across colleges in Andhra Pradesh were shortlisted for the role they have played to guide and motivate the students in the state.

Students of various colleges across Andhra Pradesh such as JKC and IGNOU were invited to nominate professors/lecturers who have impacted their lives and also to list their respective contributions. Spanning a period of two months, the "Best Professor Award" program received an overwhelming response with over 500 students participating and over 25 professors being nominated. The students cast their vote to choose the best professor based on their contribution to academic and personal growth of students.

The award ceremony was held at 24/7 Customer campus, Somajiguda on October 14, 2008. Dr M.D. Christopher, Secretary, APSCHE, was the Chief Guest and Vinod M, VP Recruitment, 24/7 Customer presided over the ceremony. 35 professors and lecturers from various colleges in Andhra Pradesh participated in the ceremony. 24/7 Customer is the first BPO company to institute an award that recognizes the contributions of teachers to students.
