24/7 to increase
headcount in city
Friday, August 06,
2004
24/7 Customer, a voice and email-based customer
support services and solutions provider, will be ramping up the
operations of its centre in Hyderabad, from the current 300 people
to 900 in the next 12 months, the company's co-founder and chief
operating officer Shanmugam Nagarajan said.
"We are seeing a lot of traction in the customer
support space. More importantly, customers are beginning to see
Hyderabad as a base for their support infrastructure, particularly
for third-party set ups. That's the reason why we are planning to
expand our Hyderabad centre," Shanmugam told the Deccan Chronicle
in an interview. 24/7 Customer had opened its contact centre at
Cyber Gateway here in September last year..
