Conference Series the first seminar of the series will be
held on the 10 th of April 2004 at the IIM-Bangalore campus. The
seminar will be held in association with the Indian Institute of
Management Bangalore, under the aegis of the NS Raghavan
Center for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL). Prof. P.G. Apte, Director
IIMB, will be inaugurating this seminar series.
The First Beyond Knowledge seminar is a unique
workshop that will offer an in-depth view of the rapidly growing
BPO industry. The theme for this first academic seminar is Identity
of the faceless worker in Emerging Business & Technology Paradigms.
At the First Beyond Knowledge Seminar,
eminent industry personalities and academicians
will share their views and experiences on various facets of the
BPO industry. Speakers include Prof. Murali Patibandla, IIMB, Prof.
Pawan Mamidi, IIMB, Prosenjit Ganguly, VP Human Resources, HealthScribe,
Johny Joseph, VP Learning & Development, 24/7 Customer and Dr.
Vikram Prabhu, a practicing clinical psychiatrist.
The First Beyond Knowledge seminar will also
include a panel discussion. Employees of 24/7 Customer will be given
an academic platform to discuss Sociological and behavioral impact
of the BPO industry on the youth of Bangalore. Mr. Suresh Venkat,
Program Director, RadioCity - Bangalore will moderate the panel
discussion. The seminar series is open to IIMB academic community
and students, 24/7 Customer employees and special invitees from
the external community.

its flagship academic initiative called Beyond, a first
of its kind, management skills training traversing areas of contemporary
management thought and practice for its employees. The program is
being designed by Prof. Pavan Kumar Mamidi, Indian Institute of
Management- Bangalore (IIMB) and managed by Meta-I Technologies,
an Education Support Services company, incubated by IIMB/NSRCEL.
